27 August 2006 - front

Sunny skies prevailed this morning (finally!).

I've begun deadheading the Feverfew plants.
Their lovely white flowers are turning brown.
Xeric gardens are not maintenance-free gardens!


This "rescued" Blue Mist Spirea, above,
shows off its first blooms this summer.

Two favorites continue to bloom:
Paprika Yarrow, above and Campanula, below



Below: The delicate Coreopsis continue to
challenge my photography skills.
