09 July 2006 - front yard

The two Russian sage plants stand tall, nearly out-flanking the giant yarrow.

When the mirabilis multiflora (right) did not appear by late spring,
I assumed that it had died over the winter.
So, I planted the gray santolina (left) to take its place.
The weather's been cool and rainy the past week.
A few days ago, I noticed the emerging mirabilis.
This morning, it's healthy and ready for another growing season.
