I started this lupine from seed. The first pink bloom is quite lovely.
Last year (my garden's first), the Russian sage (front left) did not thrive.I was disappointed since it's suppose to be an excellent xeric plant.
This year, all three of Russian sages are healthy and growing into large shrubs.
My lesson: patience - some plants take a year to establish themselves.
